"LUNCH AND LEARN"Community Forums
September is National Alcohol and Drug Recovery Month. The US Department Health and Human Services, is advancing this important initiative by promoting the message that "recovery from alcohol and drug use, in all its forms, is possible.” On a local level, Recovery Revolution Inc. (26 Market Street) is excited to be supporting Recovery Month by welcoming all community members to “Lunch and Learn” Community Forums.Parents, Peers, Partners and Professionals are encouraged to attend.
Recovery Revolution’s 3rd Annual "Lunch and Learn" Forums will be on the first three Tuesdays in the month of September at our Bangor office. Each forum will be held from 12pm-1pm and include a 15 minute "Ask a Professional" section at the end of each session. Lunch will be served and there is NO COST to any participants. There will be free material and referrals for additional resources. Attend one or attend them all. This year we have three amazing facilitators with over 60 years of clinical experience combined.
All three lunches will be held at the Recovery Revolution Bangor Office. Noon to 1:00pm

Every hour starting at 3:00pm there will be different recovery speakers and different recovery topics. Whether you are in recovery, know someone in addiction/recovery or just want to be more informed - you are welcome to attend. Of nearly new and hardly under items. Proceeds will go to our Alumni Association. Note: We will not be accepting donations at the office. Bangor office to celebrate Recovery Month. Free lunch was served and
there were free material and referrals for additional resources. Mary
Kay Carlin, LCSW, a well respected clinician with over 30 years of
experience in the addictions field, will be facilitating the forums.
