Licensed Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Facility in Bangor, PA will be accepting resumes for dedicated and experienced addiction counselors as well as administrative staff. While currently there are no positions available, we would encourage you to fax your resume for our file.
Counselor Responsibilities: To act as a clinical staff for outpatient treatment activities, which will include individual, family, and group counseling. Case management responsibilities include, but are not limited to, conducting biopsychosocial assessments, individual treatment planning and aftercare planning. The candidate must have a strong knowledge base of addiction and 12-step recovery and requires the ability to act in an independent, responsible and self-sufficient manner.
Counselor Qualifications: Full Certification as Addictions Counselor and/or Bachelor’s Degree in related field. Masters Level Degree in related fields a plus. A minimum of 2 years direct care experience in a human services agency, preferably a Drug and Alcohol Treatment facility.
